Jose Pepper`s in Belton

Ordered takeout during this Corona bs and they over delivered. Food was probably the best we've gotten from peppers and we've never really been disappointed as it was. I'm only disappointed in myself for not giving a better tip. Blame Texas Roadhouse...sorry we'll get you next time.

First time back since the pandemic started. Yummmmmm!

I got food poisoning from the meat not being cooked correctly. As well as the high level of grease in the tacos. The beans and rice were cold. Very disappointed and not feeling the greatest.

Alex, our server, was very cute, gracious, and in tune with our needs as a party of 6. The kitchen did forget my son's extra sour cream and it was the worst margarita I've ever had. Alex refilled all glasses repeatedly without fail. We went at 11 this morning and it's now 9:30 tonight and my stomach still hurts from this morning. Very good experience. It was all for my mom's birthday. She had a great time. Except for my sister not being there. She's 8 hours away. But she will be here later this month.

On 07/04/2019 we ate at Jose Peppers in Belton. The waitress changed the amounts to add to her tip. I contacted the bank and they said to call the police. I contacted the manager Collin. He did put the amount of the tip back on my card and asked me come back in and ask for him next time. I did tonight, asked for him twice. Never came to our table, never offered to make it good. I should have went to the police. Double check with your bank to make sure your not ripped off. This happens everywhere.

This place is so bad. The people here in belton mainly customer very rude. I have never been so unwanted here. The good was here really good. But the older people of belton mean and very rude making me and my family very uncomfortable.

The spot is superb and spacious, the food was delightful and the prices were very economical. quick, effective service and very welcoming waiters. I highly recommend this place.

We like Jose Peppers they have great Tex Mex. Service is always good and we are never disappointed. We'll be back as usual.

I know it is cinco de mayo and I know they are extremely busy trying to deal with the virus and everything but their organization is aweful! They should have everyone check in as they enter the parking lot. We waited more than 45 minutes before I called a waitress s over as she was headed back in. The car next to us waited over an hour. Of course our food was cold as we were late at picking it up. Someone needs to help get things organized better. Unfortunately, this lock down and its consequences are going to continue for a while.

So I walk in and was told that you cant places a order to go because of the Virus lol have the staff dosen't even know how to wear there mask to cover up there noises sticking out. So what the difference if your in the places or on the phone there where three people at the bar plent of room. To take a order but no back out to the 90 degree heat to call and get hung open the first time I called to sit and watch there cook or someone come out to smoke a cigarette with his mask hanging and bare hands moving it This Is my last time here

They serve big portions and for fair pricing. very nice staff. 5 stars from me.

Seth was are wait or and he was great..he been there only three days but he was helful in ordering and it was speedy. He didn't know much about the drinks being 18 but he tryed in his best effort to help us order what we wanted. He listened and took are input in on everything.. gave his all in are sadifactory. I give Seth 5 stars actually 10. The food was wonderful too...yum

I use to love this place but last couple of times I have eaten there it was not good in my opinion. I always order the Monterey Burrito. It was very bland and dry. They do a great business. If I go back I won't order that item any longer.

Used to love this place. They have really gone downhill. I ordered a ground beef taco that came out soaked in grease. It was disgusting. The servers are nice. Just the food has changed.

My husband and I really love this place. I absolutely LOVE their guacamole and queso. I'd go just for that. We always try to get something new when we go and so far my favorite has been a steak taco. Any of the burritos are great too. Their rice is delicious and I love their little corn nugget things. Kinda obsessed actually. Their tortillas are pretty good and I have no complaints about salsa. We've been several times and I've only had 1 bad meal. We usually get good service but once we had a very distracted server. Overall, I wouldn't complain and I don't think anyone in my family would either. Anytime my nephew (3 yrs old) visits he wants to eat at "hot pepper", so I think he would give it 5 stars too!

We came to this place for a meeting. we heard about this restaurant from a lot of people. Well, it was very successful. The staff welcomed us with a smile and we felt fantastic. The food was just great. We loved this spot very much and we will definitely return to this restaurant. Recommended.

I have tried twice to do online ordering with Jose and both times we never got our food. I spoke to Ryan who refunded my funds and told us to give them a second chance. We did that tonight and 30 mins later still no goo . All we order was espinica dip.

This spot knows how to take care of their customers. Always with a helpful mindset. The food is conveniently priced, constantly fresh and clean.

Steak and mushroom enchalada is fresh and creamy. Really tasty salsa. The staff is quick and helpful.. Nice cantina atmosphere. . Not very salty. average prices.. good Saturday noon crowd.

We arrived 40 minutes before Closing time and still got excellent service... From kitchen to table was only 8 minutes.. I was impressed on how much beef was in the Taco Bell...

We got a to go order we got hot sauce instead of regular salsa I love the regular salsa pretty much ruined our dinner

Food was ok, big portions. For a chain restaurant it is worth stopping.

Food was excellent. Server had the whole patio and several tables inside yet managed to keep up with all our needs.

Took 45min to get our food and when we did one was missing. Thing is they were not that busy, like no one was waiting or anything. Once we finally got all 5 meals they were luke warm. Unfortunately Last 2 times we have went we have walked away unsatisfied. Not sure if something has changed as we used to love it there but for now we will eat elsewhere.

Belton location Jose peppers... food was subpar. Waitress asked management about a special food request and it was approved. Once the kitchen went to make it they said they couldn't. Basically too lazy to do their job that management said could be done.. once our order was made you could tell it sat under a heat lamp for a while.. Everything was burned on top.Save the time and just go to lees summit Jose peppers. Waitress did a good job even though she was very busy.

My husband and I ordered from here on a whim and thouroughly enjoyed it all. Our favorite was the goat chease tower, which was spicier than we would typically go for but turned out to be a pleassnt burn. We will definitely be coming for oir next date night.

Great food, cheap prices, and awesome staff.

Was rushed from the moment we walked in. From ordering to eat and to leave. Mind you we walked 42 mins prior to closing. I waiter was unfriendly to say the least. My food was dry and burnt in the bottom. They forgot our drip for being so much in a rush.

The place was busy even on a Tuesday night. That's a good sign. This was my first time here. I was impressed with the atmosphere and staff. Our server was prompt and attentive. There are a bunch of televisions with sports on. I like thatMy family and I ordered the beef Chimichanga, avocado and chicken enchiladas and steak tacos. They were all very good and the presentation was nice. I will return and recommend this place.

Today's experience was great. The food was awesome with better flavor that we have had for quite a while. Maybe its because we haven't been eating out much but today it was great.

Service, quality of food, everything delivered hot.
